The travel insurance must be taken out at the latest on the fifth day after arrival in the country. In this case, the start of the insurance may not be in the future. If you have not yet arrived in the country, the date of arrival in the country must be the same as the start of the insurance.
You can insure a stay of a maximum of 185 days with this insurance. Insurance coverage shall commence at the earliest when the premium is paid.

Who can take out insurance?

We insure guests up to the age of 65 who do not have their residence or habitual abode in Switzerland and enter Switzerland or a Schengen state with a Schengen visa issued by the Swiss authorities.
